- CSS
- JavaScript
- NodeJS
- MongoDB
Accessibly App tools
When Accessibly App is installed on a site, the website can be adjusted through keyboard navigation with the “tab” key (WCAG 2.1/2.1.1). The list below also shows the Accessibly App features and tools provided for a better website experience:
Text Zoom | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.4
This tool allows users to increase text size up to three times the original text size for improved readability.
Larger cursor
Makes the cursor larger and easier to notice. It increases cursor size to support better website browsing.
Color inversion
Inverts the colors of website content. For people with reduced vision, strong contrast can greatly improve site readability.
Adjust Contrast | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6
This tool lets users manually choose between two options: increasing website contrast or lowering contrast.
Adjust Brightness | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6
This tool lets users change the brightness on the site. Content may be made either brighter or darker.
Grayscale | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6
Users can enable grayscale, causing website content to appear only in shades of gray. This supports people with visual impairment.
Reading line
Adds a helpful reading line to the website.
Readable fonts
Changes fonts available on-site to one of the easiest fonts to read: Helvetica.
Image alt text
Ability to read image alt text. Currently, our tool includes a feature where missing image alt descriptions are generated with Google’s Vision AI. If you have not manually added these image descriptions yourself, this greatly helps people with visual impairment browse your site.
Tooltips | WCAG 2.1 / 2.5.3
Adds labels to images that include a written description of the image.
Highlight links
Highlights links so they are easier to identify.
Hide images
Hides images on the site. This can improve site readability for people with visual impairment.
Page reader
A feature that allows a voice to read the text on your site aloud to visitors.
